Bueche (Koperski), Maureen
BUECHE (KOPERSKI) - Maureen, age 77, of Grand Rapids, passed away at Trillium Woods Faith Hospice of Pancreatic Cancer. Maureen was a beautiful and cheerful woman who always wore a smile that could light up a room. She graduated from Central Mercy Nursing School in 1954 and in later years she worked at Sherbrook Nursing home in order to dedicate her life to others. Maureen loved to golf, took many trips, and was always on the move with family and friends. Her religious faith was also a boundless part of her life in which she walked in the light of Jesus Christ every day. She was preceded in death by her parents, Catherine (Doyle) and Clair Kuennen. She is survived by her sister, Kathleen and William Masters; niece, Mary Jo and Dave Czarnecki. Preceded in death by husband, Richard Koperski. Surviving son, Thomas and Tracey Koperski; granddaughters, Kaitlin and Maggie; sisters and brother-in-laws, (John and Helen Koperski), Dolores and Gordon Skoboda, Patricia and Peter Proulx (Mary Lou and Larry Antecki), Betty Mae and Ron VanValkenburg, Janet and Robert DeKosky, James and Debbie Koperski, Barbara (James) Braak, Robert and Diane Koperski, Rosie and Neil Sharphorn; Sue and Evert Jelsma; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, William Bueche, Kathleen Ferguson. Also surviving are William's sons and daughters, Sue and Paul Messner, Fr. William Bueche CSsR, Michael and Marsha Bueche, Dianne and Tom Hula, Mary and Mike Heinbeck, Jane and Bruce Carlson, Elaine and Bill Sterkenburg, Tim and Nancy Bueche, Margaret and Randy Willson, Matthew Bueche, Charlie and Jan Bueche; sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise (Don) Geske, Fr. Charles Bueche CSsR, Janice and Peter Chan, Sr. Helen Bueche OP, Kenneth and Rose Bueche; sister-in-law, Patricia (Harry) Rockwell, 32 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren; and dear friend, Onie DeVries. Please visit Arsulowicz Brothers West Mortuary, 585 Stocking NW on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m, Tuesday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 224 Carrier NE with visitation one hour prior to service.
