On Sunday, January 24, 2010, Gerard (Jerry) M. Couturier, aged 57, peacefully completed his life and went to be with the Lord, with his family by his side. Surviving are his children Melisa Hoodhood, Jasen Couturier (Jessica), Desirea Couturier (David), grandchildren Jasmine, Casey, Madison, Jacob, his sisters Renee Napieralski (Denis), Michelle Phillips (John), many special nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Rose Couturier. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday January 28, 11:00am at St. Isidore Church, with his cousin Rev. Troy Nevins and Rev. Donald Lomasiewicz, officiating. He will repose in church one hour prior to Mass. Burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Wednesday January 27 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at Arsulowicz Brothers, East Mortuary, 937 Michigan NE where a Rosary will be prayed Wednesday at 6:30pm.
