Cunningham (Prescher)
Mrs. Del C. Cunningham aged 64 of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday February 3, 2010. Surviving are Dick, her devoted husband for 41 years and best friend for 48 years, Her loving daughter Sue with whom she had a very special relationship, 2 dear brothers Karl (Linda) Prescher of Milford, MI, Rob (Nancy) Prescher, sister-in-law Marilyn (David) Ware, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Bernie & Vickie Prescher and her sister Kath Tewksbury. Del's Catholic Faith was extremely important in her life with a special devotion to the Mother Mary and praying of the Rosary. She was a 1963 graduate of Catholic Central High School. After graduation she worked for the law firm of Roach Smolenski,Twohey, Benson & Brady for 11 years. Del had a love for the Lake Michigan shoreline and always wanted to get a "pronto pup" and walk the pier with Dick. She had a fondness for all animals especially her pets Molly, Alley, Frankie, Hairy and Reilly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 11:00am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, where she will repose one hour prior to Mass. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at Arsulowicz Brothers, Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd, where a Rosary will be prayed Sunday at 7:00pm. Memorial contributions to Kent County Humane Society will be appreciated.
