Czarnopys (Larmour)
Mrs. Catherine T. Czarnopys, 87 years old, danced into heaven on Sunday July 4, 2010. Born in Philadelphia on November 18, 1922 to George and Catherine Larmour. Predeceased by beloved husband Robert, her brother George Larmour and sister Ann Larmour. She was unique in all the world and made an impression everyone who met her. She was given the gift of humor and loved to make people laugh saying "laughter is good for the soul." At a Philadelphia roller rink, during the war years, she caught the eye of a handsome young Navy man from Grand Rapids. The rest is history. Mrs. Czarnopys was a retiree of Kent County Circuit Court. She will be deeply missed by her children Patricia (John) Mitus, Robert (Janet) Czarnopys, Thomas (Mary) Czarnopys; grandchildren Nathan Czarnopys, Scott Czarnopys and fiancee Arley Sall, Megan (Corey) Ballmer, John (Jackie) Mitus, Christopher Mitus, Michelle Mitus, Jacob and Dean Czarnopys; great grandchildren Tamia and Kai; sister Marie Wilson; dear friends Theresa Czarnopys, Joan Santa. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 10:30am at St. Ann's Home, 2161 Leonard St NW, where the Rosary will be prayed Wednesday at 7:00pm. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
