 Sophie H. (Palasek) Hula age 93 passed away on Friday, January 29
2010.  She has gone to Jesus and will be re-united with her husband, Walter, her six brothers and sisters, their spouses, and her Mom and Dad.  She will be held in the hearts of her children, Pat and Jerry Goeldel, and Fred and Roxanne Hula ,Grandchildren:  Scott and Linda Hula and daughters Katelin and Porsha;Tim and DiAnne Hula and their children Benton, Kylie, Linsey; Judy and Kaiser Downing and their children Alec, Elizabeth, Abby and Jessica; Veronica Smith and her son  Russell; Jennifer and David Heintzelman and their children Macey, Nicholas and Mariah.; Kathi and Ben Holleman and their daughter Emily; Jim and Stacy Goeldel and their son Tyler; Michael and Jamie Goeldel and their son James. She is also survived by her brother Ed's wife, Bonnie (Palasek) Brown, her sister-in-law, Ruth Slivick, and her cousin Francis Gilewski and many nieces and nephews.  Sophie was devoted to her family.  She loved to bake and cook and was famous for her coconut cream pies.  She loved her church, St. Isidore's and had a special love for Mary, the Mother of God.  Sophie prayed the rosary daily and also visited the Chapel at St. Isidore's.  Her family will receive visitors at Arsulowicz Brothers East Mortuary, 937 Michigan, NE on Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm with a Vigil Service at 8 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Isidore's Church, 628  Diamond, NE, Monday at 11am where she will repose one hour prior.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  Memorials to the Adoration Chapel at St. Isidore's will be appreciated.
