Mrs. Mary Ann Kalinka aged 89, of Grand Rapids went to her heavenly home Thursday June 10, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Bernard J. "Kels" and her grandson Brian Kalinka. Surviving are her 5 children Robert (Barbara) Kalinka, John (Dac) Kalinka, Alexandra (Raymond) Fix, Edward (Dorothy) Kalinka, Elizabeth (James) Ball; 13 grandchildren Ruth Kalinka, Teresa Kalinka (Chris Clarke), Paul Kalinka, Eric Kalinka, Christina Kalinka, Joe (Vanessa) Fix, Jen (Steve) Foster, Laura Fix, Katie (Matt) Heller, Anne (Mike) Brinich, Rochelle, Michael & Matthew Ball; 4 great grandchildren Alexia and Molly Heller, Keira & Emily Foster; 1 sister Martha Bonczyk; in-laws Virgina Ignatoski, Bernadine (Richard) Polkowski, Gerald Kalinka, Don & Linda Kalinka, Martha & Al Rosengren, Dorothy Durham; many nieces and nephews. Most important to her, was her Faith, Family and her Polish Catholic Heritage. She was a member of St. Isidore Altar Rosary Society, whose members will pray the Rosary Sunday at 2:00pm. She was a longtime member of St. Isidore Church where a Mass of Christian Burial and Committal Service will be celebrated Monday at 10:00am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Her family will receive visitors Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm and Monday from 8:45 to 9:45 am at Arsulowicz Brothers, East Mortuary, 937 Michigan NE, where a Vigil Service will be held Sunday at 7:30pm. Memorial contributions to St. Isidore Church will be appreciated.
